Ibera Marshes - Subtropical Paradise

We will make an overland trip to Iguazu rainforest: palmettos, amazing wildlife, spectacular waterfall; the Jesuit Mission ruins and the Iberia marshes, the second largest marshland in South America. An unforgettable opportunity to listen to mysterious stories about this magical and fascinating land in Northern Argentina.

DAY 1 PUERTO IGUAZU
Reception at Puerto Iguazu airport and transfer to Sheraton International Hotel. The Iguazu national Park is the riches biological in the Country of Argentina. The afternoon will be spent exploring on foot and by train the Argentine side of this World Heritage Site, considered by many, the most spectacular waterfalls on Earth. Two hundred streams tears from the rainforest, forming myriad gorgeous falls of   230 feet high mixing graciously with the lush surrounding vegetation.

DAY 2 PUERTO IGUAZU
In the morning, visit to the Brazilian side to enjoy the panoramic view of the falls and the rainforest enhanced by fascinating rainbows. Accommodations.

DAY 3 PUERTO IGUAZU / JESUIT MISSION / IBERA MARSHERS
Drive southward to the imposing San Ignacio Mini Jesuit Mission, that dates back to   XVI century. Then we will continue to Colonia Anos Pellegrini, close to the Iberia Marshlands in Corrientes provinces, which are double the size of the Everglades in Florida, USA. Until recently, these inaccessible marshes have protected a wide range of wildlife and are considered on of the most spectacular natural regions in South   America, having been covered by National Geographic and BBC. Accommodations in an exclusive and comfortable Inn for 2 nights. Full board.

DAY 4 IBERA MARSHE
Explore this fascinating region, its ponds, marshes, aquatic vegetation, islands, woods, by day and night, on foot, on boats poled by gauchos and game drives. We should expect to find capybara; large rodent on Earth, weighting up to 176 pounds, Caymans marsh deer's howlers and carya monkeys,   aquatic turtles, abundant and varied water animals (jabiru storks, southern screamers and rheas among other, butterflies wild flowers, birds, etc). Transfer to Posadas airport.
