Darwin Range Trek & Sailing

Down south the American Continent, the Andes Range sinks into the Pacific Ocean forming a large archipelago of Chilean islands with lots of channels, fiords and bays, outlined by the rugged shape of the southern extreme of the Andes. Few people visit these remote areas so we will spend our days out in the wilderness.

DAY 1 – USHUAIA
Upon arrival to the city of Ushuaia, you will be met and taken to your hotel. A briefing will take place in order to clarify activities for the next few days. Afternoon visit to the city including the Endo of the? World museum,. Accommodation in Ushuaia. Dinner

DAY 2 – USHIAIA/ PUERTO WILLIAMS
Breakfast. Transfer to the Pier. Embark on our sailing boat that will navigate the Beagle Channel up to Puerto Williams, located on Ambarino Island, where we will visit the Martin Guinde Museum. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 3 – PUERTO WILLIAMS/ SAILING THE BEAGLE CHANNEL
Breakfast, sail from Puerto Williams to Bahia Yendegaia.Lunch, dinner and overnight on Board.

DAY 4 – BAHIA YENDEGAIA (STOPPANI BASE-CAMP)
Breakfast. Arrive to Caleta Ferrari where we will find the first Chilean estancia (ranch)In Tierra del Fuego. Visit ancient shell deposits left over by the ‘Yaganes’ natives from this Islands, a true archeological remain that will allow us to understand how these inhabits lived. Horesback riding to Stoppani Glacier’s base- camp. Camp. Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 5- BAHIA YENGEGAIA (STOPPANI BASE- CAMP)
Breakfast. Trekking day to Lake Los Zorros, Dartmoore glacier and Mount Roncagli, following guanacos path. Lunch at lake Guanado. Our trek back to Base- camp at Stoppania Base – Camp. Dinner.

DAY 6 – BAHIA YENDEGAIA / SAILING
Breakfast. Horseback riding back to Caleta Ferrari. Lunch. During the afternoon, we will embark again for our trip back to Puerto Williams. Overnight on board. Dinner

DAY 7 – SAILING / PUERO WILLIAMS
Breakfast. Upon arrival to Puerto Williams, we will enjoy a tour of this picturesque town to later embark again on our sail boat. Overnight on board. Dinner.

DAY 8 – PUERTO WILLIAMS/ USHUAIA
Breakfast. Sail back to Ushuaia along the Beagle Channel. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. Accommodation in Ushuaia.

DAY 9 – USHUAIA
Transfer to the airport to board flight.
