DAY 1 BUENOS AIRES
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afrernoon, city tour of Buenos Aires. We will visit some of the most interesting places, such as: Plaza de Mayo (Mayo Square), Casa Rosada (Government Pink House), the Cabildo (Old City Hall), the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, Colon Theatre, la Boca, San Telmo, Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods. A great first glance of the city on your arrival day to asses what this cosmopolitan city has to offer. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to Martindale Country Club, located less than one hour from the city. This wonderful golf course was inaugurated in 1986. It is a 72 par course of 6,900 yards, which constitutes one o the best trails in Argentina, not only its exquisite design that keeps the essence of an old park, but also for the beauty of the place and the excellent field maintenance which is the club highlight. Lunch will be served at the Club House, afterwards you will play an 18 hole Medal Play Tournament. Return to the hotel in Buenos Aires. Accommodations.
DAY 3 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to the Jockey Club de San Isidro, a nationwide well know club full of history and tradition. The challenging red course was designed by Mr. Allister Mackenzie, and hosted the most important tournaments, such as the Republic Open, The World Cup, The European Tour and the amateurs Championships. In the afternoon, we will enjoy lunch at the Club House. After an 18 hole round you will realize why great players like Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, Gary Players, Craig Stadler, Bryron Nelson and Jack Nicklaus so strongly recommend this course. DAY 4 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will drive to a traditional estancia (ranch) in the outskirts of the city where you will spend a full day enjoying a gaucho party. This is the perfect way to take a rest from the great number of activities you taking part in and spend a marvelous day enjoying nature and culture. During lunch time we will taste a delicious “asado” (Argentine Barbecue), during the afternoon we will enjoy a folklore show with live music, dancing and tango demonstration, followed by ‘cuadreras’ and ring races where gauchos show their skills as riders. For those willing to participate in traditional activities, there horses and ‘sulkies’ 9two-wheeled carts) to go around in the ranch. Later on, a snack consisting of home-made pastries and ‘mate’ (green tea) will be served. Return to the hotel . Accommodations.
DAY 5 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to Olivos golf club. This is a beautiful golf course, whose main characteristic is the undulating land planted with old trees, where accuracy and patience are required. After having lunch at the Club House you will participate in an 18 hole Medal Play Tournament, where you will able to show yours best skills. This course has been the scenery for the Masters Tournament for 14 consecutive years. Numerous golf stars, such Payne Stewart, Bernard Langher, Gary Player, Robert de Vicenzo, Vicente Fernandez and Craig Stadler have played here. Return to the Hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 6 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel. This will be the last day for you to play and enjoy a real time practicing golf. An excellent opportunity to farewell Argentina golf courses. Today’s challenge is going to take place in the course of your presence. Hurlingham Golf Course or Highland Park Country Club. In both cases, you will arrived a midday and enjoy a delicious meal at the Club House. In first 9 holes of Hurlingham Club were inaugurated in 1892. As it was ofren the case with English golf courses, it was built near a railway station. It is a 71 par course of 6,349 yards. As it was usual at the time golf courses were characterized by its small and quick greens and narrow fairways. It was host of the Republic Open in various opportunities and o the most important Tournaments of the Amateur’s ranking. Highland Park Club is one for the most demanding course in Buenos Aires. A Clear example is that it is 73.8, this is due to its length (almost 7,000 yards), its countless obstacles (streets and water hazards is most of its holes) and its speedy Holes.
T is a beautiful golf course with a great maintenance. Therefore, apart from it difficulty, it deserves to host the most important tournaments of the Argentine ranking of amateur golfers.
